Accucraft R20-2A Isle of Man 'G' Van With Portholes, early era livery

Product details

R20-2A IOM ‘G’ van with portholes, white lettering shaded black, running number and Tare/Load data, circa 1899 to 1939.

Running numbers G5 and G7 available.

Orders will be packed randomly with no two the same unless you order more than two.

Continuing our Isle of Man connoisseurs range TrackShack has commissioned Accucraft UK to produce the iconic Isle of Man G van with portholes. Based on the very accurate Ashbury chassis first developed for the 2 plank IOM 'M' wagons these vans include spoked wheels to give a very accurate prototypical model.

The result of many hours of research and design we honestly think this ready to run rolling stock is as good as it ever can get.

Body length is 217.5mm, overall maximum width over the handles 107mm, height 134.5mm

Minimum radius 2 feet (LGB R1).

This model features prototypical IMR spoked wheels and normal Accucraft chopper couplings.

Please note it will not now be supplied with IoM scale couplings. As supplied the wheels fitted are 45mm gauge, there are also 32mm gauge wheels in the box for anyone who wants to change them. Whilst the coupling height of the wagon is naturally IOM height there is an adaptor plate in the box for anyone who wants to set the couplings to the lower 16mm scale height. These highly detailed ready to run models are factory painted to the usual very high standard we have come to expect from Accucraft. This very accurate model is quite exquisite!
