When Will I Get It?

Our ‘standard’ parcels are sent by Royal Mail 1st class post and once dispatched we often achieve next working day delivery, however this is not guaranteed and could take longer if Royal Mail have any operational issues.

Should your parcel be urgent at the checkout you have the option to pay extra for UK Royal Mail Special Delivery. Once dispatched Royal Mail achieve a next working day delivery over 99% of the time with this top priority service, and this service requires a signature on delivery.

All orders over 1.5KG in weight or over £200 in value get an automatic free upgrade to Royal Mail Special Delivery by us when packing your order, these parcels will require a signature on delivery.

Making A Purchase Whilst all prices in magazine advertising are correct and available on this website and in our shop at the time the advert is prepared, it is inevitable that some prices or types of items stocked may have changed by the time the magazine is published.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

We will attempt to send your order right away, but if your item is not in stock, and not due in within 5 working days, we will contact you to agree how to proceed.

When you pre-order an item we contract to purchase that item from the manufacturers on your behalf. By making your pre-order you have agreed to complete your purchase by paying in full when advised stock is due in.
Shipping And Handling In stock items ordered by 1600 on a working day are normally dispatched on the same day.

We ship all orders over £200 free of charge to UK addresses, these and our other ‘standard’ paid for shipments are sent by Royal Mail 1st class post and we achieve next day delivery in over 99% of cases, although this is not guaranteed. For your convenience this service does not require a signature.

Should you wish there is a facility at the checkout for you to pay to have a UK delivery by Royal Mail Special Delivery, whilst Royal Mail promote this as a ‘Guaranteed Next Day Delivery’,and it does work over 99% of the time, please be aware Royal Mail occasionally do fail with this service. This service does require a signature on delivery.

Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in one business day.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

We insure all our parcels. Please look at the parcel for any obvious signs of damage before you sign for it. You are entitled to place a comment next to your signature, e.g. 'damaged' or 'unexamined', indeed if you wish you are entitled to ask the carrier to wait whilst you unpack an item that looks as if might be damaged.

It is your responsibility to contact us regarding any shortages or packing errors within 7 days of receipt of goods. You must check all items are exactly as ordered upon receipt.

Tax Charges For orders destined to the UK 20% VAT is included in the prices displayed on the website.
Credit Card Security Any credit card details you entered on this website are transmitted over a secure(SSL) link and processed by Actinic Payments using industry leading "Creditcall" software with 128 bit encryption. This information is not stored by TrackShack. All systems used are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant and subject to periodical robust testing techniques.

Guarantee All Accucraft and Roundhouse models are covered by a two year manufacturers warranty on parts and labour, as long as they are cared for and operated according to the comprehensive instructions provided. The warranty does not cover neglect, misuse, or general wear and tear. We (TrackShack) do not provide any warranties ourselves and we exclude any warranties express or implied by statute, common law or of any other kind.

For all warranty repairs, please contact us in the first instance. We will liase with the manufacturers who will then arrange with UK customers for the item to be collected by their couriers. Overseas customers will either need to arrange shipping of the item to and from the UK at their cost, or arrange for work to be done locally with parts supplied by Accucraft.

To make shipping easier in the event of your locomotive having to be sent for service, please retain ALL original packaging. Accucraft do not carry spare boxes in stock to return your model to you. If improperly packed to be sent to them, they cannot be responsible for any damage.

All dimensions given are approximate only, we do not guarantee that any particular model will fit a customers loading gauge, due to variations in track profiles and curve radius. The colours shown in the illustrations are representations only and are subject to printing variations.

Sometimes, in these cases, the third party may need to disclose your details to another third party working as a subcontractor to them.

Returns Policy Faulty or damaged goods can be returned for full credit or replacement.

You may return unwanted goods for credit within seven working days of receipt for full credit to your original payment method. Credit will only be given if the goods are returned to us in a saleable condition with all packaging, components, labels, leaflets and instructions. We reserve the right to adjust the refund value of any returned goods (including packaging) not in as new condition.

Please call on 0330 0885759 - UK Local Rate and quote your name and postcode prior to sending your return, lines are open Mon-Fri 0900 – 1630. Alternatively please email using the contact facility on this website.

Place a note with the goods stating your name and address, including the postcode, and reason for return.

Repack the goods securely and address to TrackShack Ltd, Unit 4 Olive Court, Ramsey Road, Peel, Isle of Man IM5 1RH (normal UK postage rates apply).

We will only refund ordinary 1st class postage costs for defective items returned, please obtain a free certificate of posting for your records as we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of goods to our address without it.

The returned items are covered on our insurance, therefore please do not waste your money upgrading the postage to ‘Signed For’ or ‘Special Delivery’. If you do choose to upgrade the returns postage to ‘Signed For’ or ‘Special Delivery’ we will only refund the normal 1st Class postage costs back to you.

On receipt of the goods we will credit the original payment method with the value of the returned goods. If you require faulty goods to be replaced rather than refunded please make this clear.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
