Pearse Locomotives from TrackShack

We have been appointed as the sole agents for Pearse Locomotives. A very select range of these 16mm and G scale live steam locomotives for garden railways are now being built to order as and when time permits. These are being allocated to customers in the strict order of reservation and the current queuing time is approx 5 to 10 years. As the construction of these locos is "filling in" work around other commitments we cannot give exact timescales for production - they will be ready when they are ready and not before! Please note Pearse Locomotives no longer take bookings direct from customers.

As normally supplied all locomotives on this page are not lined or lettered. If you have agreed with Lightline for them to do this additional work please let us know as we can arrange for the bodywork to go for lining prior to assembly.

This is a scale model of the Manning Wardle locomotives "Exe" "Taw" and "Yeo" as supplied to the Lynton and Barnstaple railway.

These engines are built to 16mm scale but are also G scale compatible. They will happily run round curves as sharp as 2'6" radius.

Free reservation for Pearse Locomotives Leeds No 1 0-6-2T live steam locomotive

Built to order as time permits.

This is a model of "Leeds No 1", built by Hunslet in 1904 for the Leeds Water Corporation. Leeds No 1 worked on the 2' gauge main line which ran from Masham to Leighton Reservoir. The engine was reputedly scrapped in the 1930's.

Height to top of cab: 152mm.
Scale: 16MM, also G scale compatible.
Gauge: 32mm or 45mm.

This is a detailed model of the 2-6-4T locomotive built by Kitson's in 1904 for the Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway in North Staffordshire.
