AnDel Models FR Moelwyn 0-4-0D with Manual Control

This Loco is a near scale model of the Baldwin Gas Mechanical Locomotive. The Model is based on the First world war locomotives that were provided for the front line work. Moelwyn is in the early Ffestiniog railway form with the fuel tank located on top of the gearbox housing; this was before conversion to a 2-4-0, in 1957, by the addition of a front pony truck.
The Dimensions of the Model are: height, 137mm; length, 235mm; width, 85mm. The Model is fitted with a Timpdon Electronics manual speed controller with rotation of the exhaust funnel being used for speed control. The model uses the AnDel Models Chassis powered by a M.F.A. motor with four wheel chain drive as standard. Power for the model is provided by an 4.8 volt 1000 mAh NiMh battery pack giving around 3.5 hrs running. The package is complete with a mains charger for the loco battery pack.

The Model is fitted with an AnDel Models specification UltraRad Radio Controlled system. The model uses the AnDel Models Chassis powered by a M.F.A. motor with four wheel chain drive as standard. Power for the model is provided by an 6 volt 1000 mAh NiMh battery pack giving around 4 hrs running at shunt speed and 3.5 hrs running at main line speed. The package is complete with a mains charger for the loco battery pack.
AnDel Models, has worked closely with Timpdon Electronics to develop a version of their UltraRad Radio Control System with the receiver and controller reduced in size to fit in the AnDel Models diesel Locomotives.
The Transmitter features:
- 50 metre range
- One handed operation
- Runs on 2 x AA batteries with 100 hour+ life
- Analogue variable speed control channel
- Digital Forward / Stop / Reverse control channel
- Digital Full Speed / Shunt speed control channel
The full speed setting on the transmitter allows the loco to be fully controllable on the main line and the shunt setting, allowing a fine half speed control to be used when shunting in the yard.
Please note that this product is only available for the U.K. market and is 32mm gauge.

Free reservation for Roundhouse Criccieth Castle 0-6-0D battery electric locomotive.

Criccieth Castle was built at Boston Lodge for the Ffestiniog Railway from parts supplied by Baguley—Drewry and entered service in 1995.
The model features a beefy motor and drive-train and at almost 3 kg is quite a heavyweight with performance to match. It will pull the heaviest trains at realistic speeds and keep going for several hours.
With the optional onboard sound system you can hear the engine ticking over when you switch the sound on. Open the throttle and the air brakes release and the engine sound increases with the speed of the loco. Sound the horn as you press a third switch on the transmitter.

0-6-0 outside framed chassis with high quality Buhler motor and precision made steel and bronze gear set.
Fitted with full radio control for both speed and direction (and horn if fitted).

Accucraft UK have announced their intention to develop an electric powered ‘Countess’. No details of specification, dates, or price have been set as yet. A sample will be made and put out for review. However the batch will only go ahead if they get in excess of 50 units ordered. This will be a Limited Edition, limited run model.
It will help with production planning if you register your interest now should you seriously want an Electric version of W&L Countess/Earl 0-6-0T as and when they become available.

This will be a detailed 1:20.3 scale model, 45mm gauge only, built from Brass and Steel.

Technical Specification & Warranty
Most models are built from stainless steel, brass, and copper. With correct maintenance the engines will give a lifetime of pleasure.
The dimensions given above are approximate only, we do not guarantee that any particular model will fit a customers loading gauge, due to variations in track profiles and curve radius. The colours shown in the illustrations are representations only and are subject to printing variations.
The live steam models are internally gas fired and you can convert most of them from 45mm to 32mm gauge in a matter of minutes. All steam models come with insulated wheels so they can be run alongside electrically powered locomotives.
All Accucraft models are covered by a one year manufacturers warranty on parts and labour, as long as they are cared for and operated according to the comprehensive instructions provided. The warranty does not cover neglect, misuse, or general wear and tear.
For all warranty repairs, please contact us in the first instance. We will liase with Accucraft UK who will then arrange with UK customers for the item to be collected by their couriers. Overseas customers will either need to arrange shipping of the item to and from the UK at their cost, or arrange for work to be done locally with parts supplied by Accucraft.
To make shipping easier in the event of your locomotive having to be sent for service, please retain ALL original packaging. Accucraft do not carry spare boxes in stock to return your model to you. If improperly packed to be sent to them, they cannot be responsible for any damage.

Saturday Delivery Upgrade
In stock items ordered by lunchtime have a signed for UK special delivery, next working day (Mon-Fri) by 1pm.
If ordered by Friday lunchtime your parcel can be delivered on Saturday by 1pm for a small charge. You can also use this option if you prefer orders placed earlier in the week to be held back for Saturday delivery.
