Accucraft Museum
Here is our collection of what might have been, if only we had saved harder or spent less time in the pub! Of course to some readers it is a case of what is, and they should feel justifiably proud of their locos. Who knows, perhaps these models are not lost, but just resting while they wait for their next turn on the roster?

Beyer-Garratt NGG-16
This loco is as pictured in the WHR Millenium Green as No 138. It has radio control fitted.
NG 16 Garratts were developed for the 2 foot gauge railways of South Africa where their flexible wheelbase and high tractive effort enabled them to work the twisting secondary lines. With the closure of many of these lines redundant NG16s have found a new home on the Welsh Highland Railway where you can still see them doing the job they were designed for.
The superb Accucraft model fully captures all the detail of the prototype as well as its potent hauling capacity.
The loco is internally gas fired with a centre flue boiler. The boiler is fitted with a water gauge glass which will allow for continuous running with the addition of a boiler filler system . The model is gauge adjustable from 32mm to 45mm gauge, and has insulated wheels as standard. The axles run in bronze bearings and all the rods and valve gear are manufactured from stainless steel.

Z9 Pair of L&B Diamond Frame Bogies
November 2009. This item is now fully sold out and is discontinued.
These diamond frame bogies are as used under the L&B bogie goods stock. They would also be quite good for scratch built IOM stock etc.
The frames are cast in zinc alloy, and are painted black.
They come without wheels or couplings but do have the draw bar. This enables you to pick and mix from other items on this page to suit your individual project.
The bogie drawbar uses a centre hole for fixing the couplings. Factory built stock uses a modified Z1 by removing the existing side plates and drilling and tapping a hole in the centre. You can either do this or consider glue.
