As with all of other IP kits all castings, buffers, axleboxes and all steel wheel; sets are included. This coach was produced by the Ashbury railway carriage company in 1894, nos 15 were fully glazed.

These vehicles where built in 1894 by The Ashbury Railway Carriage & Iron Co. for the North Wales Narrow Gauge Railways (later the Welsh Highland Railway). It was one of four (Nos. 11 - 14) known as Summer Coaches. Nos. 13 & 14 were non glazed otherwise the bodies for all were quite similar. All four coaches had stable doors and the non-glazed windows had window bars. 'Norwegian' couplers and side chains, lighting and ventilators were fitted. The carriages were delivered with Westinghouse air brakes. They were finished in with light brown upper panels and chocolate below the waist, in a style similar to that used by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Rly. The lettering and lining was in gold-shaded vermilion, similar to Each door had the class number (3), and 'N.W.N.G.' flanked by the vehicle number was on each side. The roofs were white when delivered, but were repainted grey later.

Built for the North Wales Narrow Gauge Railways became Welsh Highland Railway property in 1923 and was reduced in height to fit the FR loading gauge. Became Ffestiniog Railway property (in exchange for three bogie wagons) in 1926. Prior to this exchange, this carriage had been WHR No 24. Subsequent to the exchange, the number 24 was allocated to Ashbury 'Corrido'r No. 23, re-establishing the division between FR and WHR stock in the combined stock list. No 23 returned to FR service in 1955 and full doors fitted in 1966. Refurbished in 2002 and returned to the WHR

This coach was the first attempts to encourage tourist travel on any narrow gauge railway in Britain the builders were the metropolitan railway & carriage company and was built in 1891 Mr Gladstone, then well over eighty , travelled on his way on holiday thereafter it was nicknamed the Gladstone car. The kit is complete with steel wheels and bogies included. All interior has scale slatted seats and uses our latest laser cutting technology so you are required very little need for any cutting or sanding

The full size version from 1993, construction of this coach was a private project, during which time it was numbered '4'. The intention was to rebuild a Royal Navy (RNAD) box van as a four-wheel coach, humorously nicknamed ‘Operating Managers Observation Saloon’ and ‘The Gin Palace’. Suggestions for its purpose included fitting as a brake coach, or specialisation for access by people with disabilities. Sadly, the original project lost momentum. Recently, this coach was adopted by the WHR Company to augment its small fleet. After an energetic effort this Spring (2005), the coach has now been restored to running order. The coach is popular with visitors, especially family groups and in wet weather.
