We are delighted to announce that we have commisioned Accucraft UK to produce the iconic Isle of Man 2 plank 'M' wagon. We are making 8 different running numbers, and also a ‘data only’ version for anyone who wants a wagon without the IMR numbering on.

Body length is 217.5mm, body width 98mm, overall maximum width 104mm.

We haven’t finally decided on the wheel type yet, this will probably either be the early Mansell wheels (with full detailing) or the IMR spoked variety.

At the moment we are planning to provide proper scale working IOM couplings (that will couple to other Accucraft stock) with provision for anyone to easily fit standard Accucraft couplings if they want, or if they have to because of very tight curves.

Whilst the coupling height of the wagon will naturally be IOM height we intend to provide an adaptor plate in the box for anyone who wants to set the couplings to the lower 16mm height. It will be possible to use either the Scale IOM couplings or the standard Accucraft couplings at either IOM or 16mm height.

You will note from the drawings and specification we are working hard to ensure this very accurate model will be quite exquisite .

These highly detailed ready to run models are factory painted to the usual very high standard.

As a very rough guide we expect pricing might work out at approx £50 to £60 although production costings are very fluid at the moment.

In stock items ordered by lunchtime are normally dispatched on the same day. Larger items over 1.75KG travel by Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day delivery by 1pm, whilst smaller packets travel by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery.
